Why can’t it be easier? Just red, white and pink wine? Wouldn’t that be enough? Who has ever heard of Abundance Vineyards Talmage Block 2001 Viognier Lodi California and what wine is it. The wine market is becoming bigger and bigger and every year more vinyards all over the world are starting. Does that mean it is getting more difficult to select a bottle of wine? There are a lot of names available, but they can all be brought back to a few wine types:

Choosing Wine: Have you ever decided to buy a bottle of wine, only to find yourself in the wine section later on, with either a panic beginning to grip you (if you?re prone to panic) or a catatonic state descending upon you (if you?re prone to catatonia)? I have. The word ?wine? is cruelly deceiving, as those four letters must suffice to describe every single beverage made from fermented grapes. The key is to take a deep breath and learn how the world of wine is divided into fairly neat categories.
